Position: President & CEO

Location: Goderich, Ontario

Job Description

WWMIC is seeking a visionary, resilient, and people-focused executive to lead the organization through its next chapter, following the retirement of a long-serving President and CEO and a recent leadership transition. This is a rare opportunity to guide a financially strong, community-rooted mutual insurer positioned for continued relevance and sustainable growth.

If you lead with humility, curiosity, and a deep commitment to developing others, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact—both within the organization and across the broader mutual insurance landscape in rural Ontario.

As President and CEO, you will lead the implementation of a newly developed strategic plan and work closely with a dedicated team and a forward-thinking, supportive Board of Directors to ensure its successful implementation across the organization. You will bring a track record of success in the P&C industry, paired with a passion for developing people, strengthening culture, and aligning teams around a shared purpose.

Your transparent, collaborative leadership style and ability to inspire and empower others will be key to your success. You will foster innovation, challenge convention thoughtfully, and drive meaningful change—while honoring the company’s proud legacy and mutual values.

Located in Goderich, Ontario—affectionately known as the “Prettiest Town in Canada”—this role offers the opportunity to live and lead in a vibrant, close-knit community known for its natural beauty, rich history, and cultural charm. (https://www.goderich.ca/en/index.aspx)
